This monochromatic portrait depicts the famous painter, Francis Bacon. This painting challenged
me because the goal of this project was to paint
the figure upside down. By doing this, I was able
to learn and grow as an artist, by focusing solely
on the shading and shapes, rather than the facial features on the surface.
